DuPont™ AmberLite™ MAC-3 is a macroporous weak acid cation (WAC) exchange resin with a polyacrylic matrix and carboxylic acid functionality, designed for dealkalization and demineralization in industrial water treatment. Its robust structure, high swelling capacity, and chemical resistance make it ideal for systems exposed to high oxidant levels, reverse osmosis pretreatment, or high salinity. This resin is well-suited for applications requiring selective removal of hardness and alkalinity while minimizing regenerant consumption.
