To maintain the high performance and safety of your reverse osmosis system:
- Carbon Post-Filter: Replace every 6 months, regardless of the volume of filtered water. Over time, the carbon loses its ability to absorb odors and tastes, which may affect water quality.
- RO Membrane: Replace every 12 months. Although membranes can technically last longer, annual replacement ensures consistently high-quality water and avoids performance degradation due to scaling, fouling, or clogging.
- Always follow your RO system manufacturer's maintenance instructions to prevent pressure drops or damage to the system.
