Ecosoft Scalex filter media is used in anti-scale filters for washing and dishwashing machines.
This innovative filtration material is developed by Ukrainian scientists. The unique technology acts comprehensively on hardness salts, preventing them from accumulating on the heating elements of washing and dishwashing machines.

Replacement of Filter Media
The 100 ml of Ecosoft Scalex filter media is designed to treat up to 20,000 liters of water or 400 washing cycles. This is a high enough capacity to allow for daily washing throughout the year.
However, our tap water contains a large number of various impurities that over time cause the filter media to become contaminated with particles such as sand, iron, and organic matter. As a result, the filter stops releasing active components into the water. While the active substance is still present in the granules, it no longer enters the water.
To ensure that your washing machine remains protected from scale and your laundry stays clean and soft, we recommend replacing the filter media (filling) every 6 months.
Instructions for Replacing the Ecosoft Scalex Anti-Scale Filter Media:
- Shut off the water supply to the filter and make sure there is no pressure on the housing.
- Unscrew the filter housing from the lid.
- Remove the top mesh covering the filter media.
- Remove the used media from the housing and rinse the housing to clear any remaining particles.
- Add the new media from the container. One container is enough for two replacements.
- Place the mesh back on the filter housing and screw it onto the filter lid.
- Open the water supply to the filter.
- The filter is ready for use.
