Scalex 2P 5” MINI filter is specifically designed to protect boilers and other household appliances from limescale accumulation. The filter's bowl is constructed from high-quality PET material, ensuring durability and reliability over extended use. It features a unique scale inhibitor with an innovative, eco-friendly filter media that effectively prevents scale formation on heating elements, thereby extending the life of your appliances and improving energy efficiency.

Ecosoft Scalex filter is intended for use only with cold tap water. For best performance, vertical installation is recommended.
The filter has a service life of 20,000 liters or 6 months of use.
However, municipal tap water often contains various impurities such as sand, iron, and organic matter. Over time, these contaminants can clog the filter media, preventing the active anti-scale components from being released into the water. This means that although the active substance is still present in the granules, it no longer reaches the water.
To ensure continuous protection of your boiler or water heater from scale build-up and to maintain energy efficiency, we recommend replacing the cartridge every 6 months.
Note: Before first use, rinse the filter with water for 2–5 minutes to remove any residual particles or contaminants that may have entered during manufacturing.
