Ecosoft Ecolite Demin equilibrated mixed bed ion exchange resin is a high-capacity, homogeneous gel-type resin consisting of a strong acid cation and a strong base anion component in H⁺/OH⁻ form. Designed for direct water purification, it ensures the production of demineralized water with conductivity below 0.1 µS/cm.

Ecolite Demin is ideal for portable systems used in window and solar panel cleaning, laboratory equipment, and autoclaves, as well as for hot-water boilers with aluminum alloy heat exchangers. The resin also provides final polishing of water after reverse osmosis, guaranteeing high-purity results for industrial and laboratory applications.

  • Ecolite Demin is an equilibrated mixed bed ion exchange resin designed for deep demineralization and polishing of water to produce high-purity or ultrapure water.

  • No. Ecolite Demin is supplied as a ready-to-use equilibrated mixed bed designed for single-use or limited-cycle operation. Regeneration is possible only in industrial systems equipped with separate resin separation units.

  • Yes. This is one of its main applications: final polishing of RO permeate to achieve ultrapure water quality.

  • No. Ecolite Demin is intended for technical and industrial water treatment processes, not for direct use in drinking water systems.

  • You can estimate it using the formula:

    Volume Capacity (m³) = Ecolite Demin volume (L) × [20 ÷ Conductivity (µS/cm)].

     

    For example, if reverse osmosis water with 16 µS/cm conductivity is polished using 100 L of Ecolite Demin, the treated water volume before replacement will be 125 m³.
