The Core 100 is our most compact 11-liter water softener for tap water – only 521 mm high. It’s designed for under-sink installation in small kitchens and is ideal for families of up to 3 people. Despite its size, it delivers powerful limescale protection and helps extend the life of household appliances.
Softening water means more than removing hardness – it improves daily comfort and helps maintain the value of your home. For enhanced system protection and long-term performance, installation of a pre-filter is recommended to prevent mechanical impurities from entering the system. It’s a smart, long-lasting solution – simple, compact, and effective.

Technical information
To ensure proper operation, keep the salt level in the brine tank above the water level at all times. We recommend keeping the tank around two-thirds full of salt. How often you need to add salt depends on water hardness and daily consumption, but for most homes, it’s enough to check it every 2 to 4 weeks.
Important: Never let the salt run out completely, as it may stop the regeneration process and reduce the efficiency of water softening.

How often do I need to add salt to the Core softener?
Salt should always be maintained above the water level in the brine tank — ideally, it should fill about 2/3 of the tank volume. The exact frequency depends on your water hardness and daily water usage, but for a typical household, this means checking the salt level every 2–4 weeks and refilling as needed. Never let the salt run out completely, as this may interrupt the regeneration process and reduce softening performance.
