Ukrainian water filter manufacturer Ecosoft joins BWT – Best Water Technology
The Board of Directors of Ecosoft Group informs that on the 10th of December 2018 the Antimonopoly Commitee of Ukraine has given a permission to BWT Aktiengesellschaft, Austria to execute the acquisition of a main stake in Ecosoft Group.

Ecosoft is a manufacturer and distributor of water purification equipment for domestic and industrial application with manufacturing facilities in Ukraine and Germany and operations worldwide. 

BWT Aktiengesellschaft is the holding company of BWT – Best Water Technology with annual turnover in 2017 of around EUR 670 mln.

The Best Water Technology Group is Europe's leading water technology company. BWT's 3,600 employees work to provide clients in private households, industries, commerce, hotels and municipalities with innovative, economic and ecological water treatment and technologies that ensure the highest standards of safety, hygiene and health in their daily contact with water. BWT offers modern treatment systems and services for drinking water, pharmaceutical and process water, water for heating, boilers and cooling, and water for air conditioning systems and swimming pools. 

Ecosoft was founded in 1991 in Kyiv, Ukraine and had been consistently and successfully developed as a prominent engineering and manufacturing company in water purification. 
Since 2012 it had been supported by consulting and financing programs of EBRD in Ukraine. 

The participation of BWT supports Ecosoft’s sustainable strategy and creates new opportunities to internationalize its products and technologies and join the leading engineering and manufacturing community in the industry. The shareholders plan to further invest in Ukraine, develop the manufacturing capacity to create new workplaces, maintain highest quality standards and invest into research and development.
