Ecosoft polypropylene pool ECOPOOL45SRSC

Artnumber: ECOPOOL45SRSC

Key advantages:

  • polypropylene basin does not require any additional cladding or finishing

  • short terms of the pool construction

  • perfect leak tightness of the pool thanks to special construction technology

  • polypropylene is resistant to UV rays

Basic information

Polypropylene is the universal material that combines minimal thickness with maximum durability, resistance to aggressive environments and UV, and can be used to produce pools of various forms. Along with that, polypropylene is simultaneously finishing, water-proof, heat-insulating and construction material. Polypropylene pools significantly save the volume of construction works, by this saving your expenses.

Important features:

  • smooth surface of polypropylene prevents development of microorganisms, fungi and algae, by this reducing consumption of chemical agents necessary to take care of the pool

  • low thermal conductivity of the polypropylene pools keeps water temperature in the basin for a longer period of time, but this saving energy consumption

  • dirt does not stick to the walls of the polypropylene pools, making maintenance and cleaning of the basin simple and quicker process

  • polypropylene is resistant to UV rays, i.e. to fading of its color, so it will preserve its look for many years

Skimmer is the most widespread type of swimming pools nowadays. What makes it so popular among consumers is relatively simple construction, convenient maintenance and affordable cost of construction compared to overflow pools.

The name of the pool derives from the key element of water circulation, that is the skimmer. The skimmer is intended for collection of the surface layer of the water with impurities drifting in it. In such pools level of the water is on the horizontal axis of the skimmer. Hence, there is a space between the water surface and the top edge which is not filled with the water. Usually it makes 10 to 20 cm. During circulation the water flows through the skimmer, and with a pump it is supplied to the filter intended to purify it. After that the water flows through injectors back into the pool.

Such kind of filtration is optimal for permanent pools of modest size. It is commonly used to create artificial water bodies in private cottages or gardens. For even circulation of the whole volume of the water the skimmer is connected to a bottom drain. The skimmer undertakes larger volume of water than the bottom drain, the proportion approximately makes 2:1.

Low cost of the equipment and moderate expenses for the basin construction make the skimmer pool significantly less expensive than the overflow one.
