Hydrogen sulfide reduction filter Ecosoft FPC 1252CT

Artnumber: FPC1252CT
Article: FPC1252CT
SYMPTOMS: Rotten eggs smell, Yellow water color
SERVICE: Automatic regeneration

The Ecosoft FPC 1252CT filter is intended to reduce contents of hydrogen sulfide in water. The filter is commonly used for water purification in 1-bathroom house inhabited by up to 3 residents.

The filter represents a durable vessel filled with high-quality CENTAUR® catalytic carbon (Calgon Carbon Corporation, USA), and is completed with a multifunction control valve.

The unique control valve is developed by Clack Corporation (USA). It provides filter’s independent service, keeps constant reserve of purified water and doesn’t require any special attention.

Key advantages:

  • Fully automatic and noise-free

  • Clean water purified from the odor of rotten eggs

  • Durable and efficient operation during no less than 5 years

  • Low volume of discharge

  • Quality guaranteed by the international CE and ISO certificates

  • Clack WS1 СT multifunctional control valve (USA)

  • Calgon Carbon Corporation CENTAUR® activated carbon (USA)

There are not many solutions to reduce contents of hydrogen sulfide in water at the present time. Application of the patented CENTAUR® media is one of the simplest and efficient. This is an activated carbon, processed with a special technology. After the processing its surface acquires catalytic properties, and is able to oxidize hydrogen sulfide to safe compounds that do not emit any smells.

The filter is connected to cold water source. Pre-treated from sediment particles, the water enters the filter vessel filled with the CENTAUR® media. The media effectively removes the odor of hydrogen sulfide from the water. The purified water is delivered to consumer through the riser pipe of the filter vessel.

To regenerate the properties of the media, so called regeneration is conducted. The control valve shifts the filter to the regeneration mode at specific pre-set time. For user’s convenience, the regeneration is held when there is no consumption of water.

During regeneration, water is backwashed at high speed through the filter to clean the surface of the media by washing out all the impurities, and then it is discharged into the sewer. After that, the filter can be again used for water purification. For regeneration, untreated feed water is used.

Thanks to the use of a multifunctional valve, the filter does not require constant attention. If any problem arises, the valve will inform about the problem at the display with a text message containing contact information of service center.
